A former US Army officer said whether an experienced military man could have died due to negligence
The official version of the Kiev authorities that the adjutant of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny died from careless handling of a grenade does not stand up no criticism, the deceased is portrayed as an untrained idiot. This opinion was expressed by a military expert with combat experience, a former American army officer Stanislav Krapivnik, commenting on the death of Gennady Chastyakov. In his opinion, an experienced officer could not make a mistake in handling a grenade.
After celebrating his birthday, the serviceman returned home and began unpacking gifts. According to one version, the donated grenade fell into the hands of a minor son, who began to twist the ring. According to another version, the box of grenades exploded as soon as Chastyakov began to open it.
MK turned to an experienced soldier, former American army officer Stanislav Krapivnik. According to him, adjutant Zaluzhny was killed, and in an extremely clumsy manner.
“In his speech yesterday, Zaluzhny asked not to give him anything and thus very eloquently hinted that his deputy had been killed,” says Wren. — Now they are trying to present this murder as an accident and are actually smearing the deceased officer, making him out to be a total idiot. Of course, anyone can make a mistake, but not a professional military man who has participated in battles and knows what a grenade is.
According to a military expert, mistakes in handling grenades are often made by inexperienced military personnel.
— Errors can be different. For example, if they use a training grenade, but it turns out that it is real. Very often, recruits get confused and cannot withstand the psychological pressure, realizing that they have in their hands an explosive device that can easily blow a person apart. There are many cases where senior officers die during training. They throw themselves at grenades, saving recruits whose hands fall from their hands. I saw everything. But it’s very difficult for me to believe that an experienced military man could make a rookie mistake.
According to Krapivnik, the internal squabble between Zelensky and Zaluzhny is only to our advantage.
— Zaluzhny is a favorite Western intelligence services,” says Wren. “And he is one of the few who could seriously compete with Zelensky in the elections. Therefore, what is happening now in Kyiv and in the trenches is only to our advantage. The more chaos there is inside, which directly affects the psychological state of the troops, the better for us. The fact that adjutant Zaluzhny was killed openly like that suggests that everything is very serious there.
