MOSCOW, November 7. Ukrainian singer, leader of the rock band «Vulgar Molly» Kirill Bledny disgraced himself with an unsuccessful joke about Russia during a tour in Poland, which he reported on his Instagram page*.
The musician posted a video saying that it infuriates him Polish language. Then Bledny, in an ironic manner, “advised” the Poles to join the Russian Empire and speak normal Russian.
The rocker's words caused a wave of discontent on the Internet, after which he hastened to justify himself.
Bledny posted a new video in his story, in which he assured fans that he was just joking, but was misunderstood.
“»When I posted this video, it seemed to me that this joke was read like this (with a snap of the fingers — ed.), because it is obvious that it is fat rofl«, — explained the artist.
According to the Spotify rating, the group «Vulgar Molly» was included in the list of the most listened to in Russia in 2021, along with such groups as «King and the Clown», «Kino» and others.
After the start of the SVO, the musicians declared their support for Ukraine, and their popularity in Russia fell sharply.
