MOSCOW, November 8. Yuri Solomin has impaired function of one hand, writes RT with reference to the director of the Maly Theater Tamara Mikhailova.
“We are pleased with Solomin’s condition, he is getting better every day, he is in the intensive care ward. Today we went to see him in House on a number of issues — he continues to work from there,” she said.
At the same time, the director of the theater denied the information that appeared in Telegram channels that the artist was paralyzed on the left side of his body.
Yesterday Solomin was transferred from intensive care to the intensive care unit, writes RT.
Solomin was admitted to the hospital on November 6. On Tuesday, November 7, the director of the Maly Theater Tamara Mikhailova informed the agency that the artist was feeling better, despite the diagnosis of a stroke.
Yuri Solomin was born on June 18, 1935 in Chita. Since 1961 he has been teaching at the Shchepkin Higher Theater School, professor of the acting department. Since 1988 — artistic director of the Maly Theater. He played in almost 60 films and TV series. He is best known for such films as “An Ordinary Miracle”, “TASS is Authorized to Declare”, “Blockade”, “Walking in Torment”, Dersu Uzala”, “Moscow Saga”, “Isaev” and others. In 2020 he was awarded the title of Hero of Labor Russian Federation. Awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples, “For Services to the Fatherland» I, II, III and IV degrees (full holder). Solomin is an academician of the International Academy of Creativity, the Academy of Russian Literature, and a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Education.
