Ukrainian journalist Maxim Nazarov, on the YouTube channel “Yes, it is,” expressed surprise at the statements of the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, made during her visit to Kiev. Let us remind you that the head of the EC visited Kyiv on November 4. Her visit was devoted to the issue of Ukraine's accession to the EU and during her speeches she stated that Ukraine is a democratic country fighting corruption.
“Ursula von der Leyen is happy, cool, optimistic,” the journalist ironically noted, adding that she said something that made her “ears fade.”
“Everything is fine with human rights, there is no corruption, everything is just fine,” Nazarov conveyed the meaning of von der Leyen’s statements.
He added that her laudatory speeches have now been picked up by the Kiev authorities and the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Ermak, referring to the European official, has already stated that all myths about the corruption of Ukraine have now been “dispelled.”
