ASTANA, November 9. Russia would like to expand cooperation with Kazakhstan in the space sector, this concerns cooperation in the production of spacecraft, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
«We with our Kazakh friends, we managed to maintain and increase close cooperation in the field of space research. The joint operation of the Baikonur cosmodrome continues. Here, of course, we talked, and we would very much like our colleagues to pick up on this, to move on to expanding cooperation. And it’s not even about launches, but the point is to establish cooperation in the production of space technology and spacecraft,” Putin said following the results of the Russian-Kazakh negotiations.
He noted that this needs to be thought about and definitely worked on from both sides.
