The SUV also distinguished itself with its exterior design. The new product is offered in the form of a rechargeable hybrid, and it has two modifications.
This year, Changan launched a new Qiyuan line in its homeland: this series was created specifically for electrified models. The first-born was the large liftback Qiyuan A07, it is available both with a hybrid installation and as a full-fledged electric car. Then the range was replenished with the Qiyuan A05 sedan and, again, the Qiyuan A06 liftback, that is, hybrid versions of the Changan Lamore and Changan Uni-V, which are familiar to Russians, respectively. And now the first crossover of the new family is going on sale — the rechargeable hybrid Qiyuan Q05. The SUV is also not made from scratch: the redesigned Changan CS55 Plus is positioned as a separate model with the Qiyuan emblem.

K0-5 has its own front bumper — with vertical diode sections of running lights and with additional luminous arc-shaped stripes. A smooth “nose” with a slot also appeared, and in addition, the exhaust system pipes were hidden. Like the original CS55 Plus, the Qiyuan Q05 hybrid crossover rides on 18- or 19-inch wheels.
The dimensions of the cars are the same. Length – 4539 mm (the basis for the Q05 was the restyled Changan CS55 Plus, it is slightly larger than the current export model), width – 1865 mm, height – 1680 mm, wheelbase – 2656 mm.
The interior is the same as that of a “traditional” SUV, the only difference is in the colors of the finishing materials. Depending on the configuration, the list of equipment may include: virtual tidy, a multimedia system with voice control, heated front seats, wireless charging for a smartphone, climate control, face recognition and driver condition monitoring systems, all-round cameras, adaptive cruise control.

Changan Qiyuan Q05 is available in two versions, both have naturally aspirated 1.5 petrol (110 hp), E-CVT and front-wheel drive. The difference is in electric motors and batteries. Thus, the initial versions are equipped with an electric motor with a power of 190 hp. and a battery with a capacity of 9.07 kWh, such cars will be able to travel 43 km on the WLTC cycle only on electric power. More expensive crossovers have a 215-horsepower electric motor and an 18.99 kWh battery, a range of 95 km (also WLTC).
Prices are still preliminary, for Changan Qiyuan Q05 they are currently asking 129,900 — 159,900 yuan, which is equivalent to approximately 1.6 million — 2 million rubles at the current exchange rate. For comparison, the purely petrol updated Changan CS55 Plus with a 188-horsepower 1.5 turbo engine in China costs from 99,900 yuan (about 1.26 million rubles).
Changan does not yet sell hybrids in Russia . However, other Chinese automakers are already bringing “green” to us, so models of the Qiyuan line have a chance of appearing in the Russian Federation.
