The FSB Directorate for Moscow and the Moscow Region reported on the initiation of a criminal case on preparation for sabotage against a 19-year-old resident of Dmitrov and an 18-year-old resident of Lobnya, who were detained on November 10. The department's report is quoted by Kommersant.
According to the investigation, one of the detainees, “acting on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services,” illegally entered the territory of the military unit, where he conducted “reconnaissance.” The young man’s goal, according to the FSB, was to “undermine the defense capability” of Russia.
The department believes that residents of the Moscow region were going to set fire to cars in the parking lot of a military unit, for which they bought flammable liquid. The FSB does not provide any other details of the case (Article 30 of the Criminal Code, Part 2 of Article 281 of the Criminal Code).
The detention of Dmitrov resident Matvey Melnikov and Lobnya resident Yuri Mikheev was also reported by the Baza and Astra telegram channels. Their sources claim that on November 8, young people entered the territory of military unit No. 11291 in the village of Nekrasovsky near Moscow to obtain information about military equipment. Baza adds that the detainees were “interested” in the mobile towers that are part of the S-300 complexes.
Today, the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow, as Mediazona noted, sent Melnikov and Mikheev to a pre-trial detention center. Information about this was published in the database of the capital's courts.
Astra and Shot write that on November 11, in the city of Ozyory, Moscow Region, near military unit No. 84081, a 23-year-old resident of Kolomna Vasily Zharkov was detained, in whose phone they found a photo of this unit, screenshots with its geolocation, as well as “correspondence with a citizen of Ukraine.” According to Shot, security forces found Molotov cocktails in Zharkov’s apartment, and the young man is now in a temporary detention facility.
