ST. PETERSBURG, November 13 The Leningrad Region prosecutor's office is checking information about the beating of a 15-year-old schoolgirl in the courtyard of a house in the village of Yalgelevo, Lomonosov district, the department's press service reports.
““The Lomonosov District Prosecutor’s Office has organized a check of information about the beating of a minor,” the message says.
The reason for the investigation was a video in which a young man in a black jacket kicks and punches a schoolgirl, she falls to the ground, the attacker has a bottle in his hands.
The Leningrad Region Prosecutor's Office added that the attacker has already been detained and a procedural check has been initiated against him.
As a source familiar with the situation said, the detained young man, 21 years old, allegedly did not like the schoolgirl’s statements about him and his family.
