MOSCOW, November 14, Ivan Orekhov. Russian mixed martial arts fighter (MMA) Vladimir Mineev told reporters that the second defeat of compatriot Sergei Pavlovich in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will not affect the career of the 31-year-old heavyweight, since he is still young for his division.
On the night of November 12, Pavlovich lost to Briton Tom Aspinall by knockout in the first round at the UFC tournament in New York and failed to become the interim champion in the heavy division.
“»I was worried about Serega. Unfortunately, this happened. Heavy weight, every blow can be decisive. I’m sure he will come back stronger. Sergei is young for this weight category, he has everything ahead of him,” Mineev noted.
