STAR CITY (Moscow region), November 15. A robotic centaur with a humanoid torso on a four-wheeled platform, which could be useful for exploring the Moon, was first shown at the Manned Space Flights conference, the correspondent reports.
The robot is presented at the exhibition along with other developments of the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center (CTC).
Previously, the executive director of the NPO «Android Technology» (robot developer) Evgeniy Dudorov said in an interview that on the Moon, astronauts may need different types of robots depending on the tasks that will be assigned to them, including such robotic centaurs.
