SAN FRANCISCO, Nov 16 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is the leading forum for Russia to discuss key issues of economic interaction between the countries of the Asia-Pacific region (APR), the Russian Embassy in the United States reported.
““Our country considers this platform as the leading forum for discussing key issues of economic interaction between Asia-Pacific countries,” the statement said.
The diplomatic mission added that APEC is also the main platform for Moscow to create favorable conditions for the development of trade and investment ties in the region, including “in line with the initiative of the President of the Russian Federation to develop the Greater Eurasian Partnership.”
Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation is a trade and economic forum that includes 21 economies in the Asia-Pacific region. This year's summit takes place from November 11 to 17 in San Francisco, California.
