According to the department, a 20-year-old guy, after relaxing in a bar, went out onto Sibirskaya Street early in the morning and saw a road roller. Together with several young men he knew, he climbed into the cabin. The cheerful company sat there for a while, and then the Perm resident noticed the keys to the asphalt paver and decided to take a ride on the unusual vehicle. Having passed a traffic light, he lost control: the roller caught the curb. Then the “passengers” jumped out of the cabin, and the hijacker decided to move on. But he didn’t know how to drive an asphalt paver, so he rolled diagonally along the roadway of Ekaterininskaya Street (not far from the city hall) and crashed into a pole. The impact caused the side windows of the skating rink to fall out and break.
When the police caught the young man, it turned out that in February he stole 18 thousand rubles and a hearing aid from his elderly relative, thanks to which I bought a phone, a soccer ball, shorts and a T-shirt. Permyak was charged with unlawful taking of a vehicle without the intent of theft and theft.
«The young man did not deny his guilt and said that he did not want to steal the road roller at all, but only wanted to go for a ride. However, such a trip caused damage to the owner in the amount of more than five million rubles. The case was forwarded to the court for consideration on the merits,” the message says.
