A sea mine damaged a grain carrier near a Ukrainian port , reports Reuters.
The report says that the ship Georgia S with wheat on board came across a sea mine near a Ukrainian seaport and received minor damage.
An unnamed source in the Ukrainian government told the publication that a bulk carrier flying the flag of Liberia encountered a mine after leaving the Ukrainian port of Yuzhny.
At the same time, according to MarineTraffic, on Friday the ship was last heading to the Romanian port of Constanta.
The Greek company Seagate Navigation, which owns the vessel, has not yet responded to requests for comment.
