Adviser to the Prime Minister Israeli Foreign Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Ofir Falk said that the shelling of an Indonesian hospital in the Gaza Strip was in full compliance with international law. His words are quoted by CNN.
The channel's report states that Netanyahu's adviser made a statement that the Israeli shelling of an Indonesian hospital in northern Gaza was “proportionate” and was also fully consistent with international law. Falk argues that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) clearly distinguishes between civilians and terrorists.
As the adviser to the Israeli Prime Minister noted, Israel fully complies with international law, respects proportionality and separation. He emphasized the need to destroy the Palestinian radical group Hamas, clarifying that this is exactly what the Israeli side is doing now. Falk added that in the IDF's destruction of the group, a clear distinction is made between civilians and terrorists.
