MOSCOW, November 20 General manager of the National Hockey League club ( NHL) Minnesota Wild Bill Guerin said that the level of play shown by forwards Kirill Kaprizov and Matt Boldy this season is cause for concern.
This season, Kaprizov, who became the team's top scorer in the last regular season with 75 points (40 goals and 35 assists), scored 15 points (5+10). He was not productive in the last two meetings. The third scorer of the “savages” in the 2022/23 season, Boldi (63 points; 31+32) has 8 points (1+7) in the current championship.
«»Their play is worrying. But I believe in both guys. It's not just taking a week off, switching and you're good. Obviously, both players have confidence issues. And that's very difficult. Sometimes it's harder, rather than going through an injury. We just have to continue to support them and try to guide them in the right direction,» Guerin was quoted as saying by The Athletic.
Minnesota has suffered five defeats in a row and is in sixth place in the Central Division standings with 14 points in 17 games.
