MOSCOW, Nov 21 German Court of Arbitration for Sport (DIS) suspended 2018 Olympic silver medalist Yannick Seidenberg for four years for anti-doping rule violations, according to the website of the German National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA).
Traces of dehydroepiandrosterone were found in the athlete's sample. The disqualification starts on September 14, 2022. All competition results obtained between January 19, 2022 and September 14, 2022 will be disqualified.
Seidenberg is 39 years old. In the final of the Olympics in Pyeongchang, the German team lost to the Russian team in overtime with a score of 3:4. Since 2013, the hockey player has been playing for Red Bull Munich.
