NIZHNY NOVGOROD, November 23. A tower crane fell at one of the construction sites in Cheboksary due to a strong gust of wind, no one was injured, the prosecutor’s office of Chuvashia reports .
The incident occurred on Thursday at about 10.30 (coinciding with Moscow time) at the site for the construction of an apartment building on Gremyachevsky Proezd.
““A tower crane, involved in construction, but temporarily undergoing repairs, fell onto the construction site as a result of a strong gust of wind. The operator was not in the cabin at the time of the emergency,” the report says.
As the regional prosecutor’s office confirmed to the agency, there were no casualties in the incident.
