KEMEROVO, November 22. Farewell ceremony with the ex Governor of the Kemerovo region Aman Gumirovich Tuleyev began at the Kuzbass Musical Theater named after. A. Bobrova in Kemerovo, reports the correspondent.
Tuleev died on Monday at the age of 79.
Many people are coming to say goodbye to the former governor, among them members of the regional government, city administration, representatives of municipal districts, veteran organizations, the deputy corps, ministries and departments, medical organizations and educational institutions, and young people. They carry wreaths and fresh flowers.
There is a guard of honor next to the coffin; Kuzbass Governor Sergei Tsivilev arrived at the ceremony; he is next to the relatives of Aman Tuleyev.
Tuleev has headed the Kemerovo region since 1997 for more than 20 years. He resigned on April 1, 2018, having received a vacant mandate in the regional parliament. On April 10, 2018, the Council of People's Deputies of the Kemerovo Region elected Tuleyev as its chairman. He held this post until September 2018, when he became rector of the Kuzbass Regional Institute for the Development of Vocational Education (KRIRPO).
