NOVOSIBIRSK, November 24. One person died and three more were injured in a road accident involving driving into the oncoming lane in the Novosibirsk region, reports the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region.
According to preliminary information, the accident occurred on November 24 at about 3.00 (23.00 Moscow time Thursday) in the Bolotninsky district of the Novosibirsk region.
«A driver born in 1989, driving a Daewoo Nexia, driving along the P-255 Siberia highway from the direction of the city of Kemerovo towards the city of Novosibirsk, at the 142nd kilometer of the road, having entered the lane intended for oncoming traffic, it collided with a Honda Freed car driven by a driver born in 1969, who was moving in the opposite direction, after which the Daewoo car collided with a passing Man car.» , — the message says.
According to the police, as a result of a traffic accident, the driver of the Daewoo car died, and his passengers, born in 1998 and 1999, were injured. A passenger in the Honda car, a woman born in 1965, was also injured.
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate and the investigative team.
