
MOSCOW, November 24. Two natives of Central Asia blocked the car’s path, got into the car and beat up a pensioner who refused to give them a ride, and soon another resident of the Moscow region got it from them, the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported.
According to the department, two natives of Central Asia in Shchelkovo, near one of the houses on Komsomolskaya Street, forcibly stopped a car driven by a 76-year-old resident of the Moscow region.
“They got into his car without permission and demanded to be taken to the Zarechny microdistrict. Having heard the refusal, the detainees beat the pensioner and also damaged the passenger door. After which the elderly man drove them to their destination,” the police said.
The press service added that on the same day, attackers on Michurina Street quarreled with a man born in 1985 and beat him.
«Currently, police officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident, interviewing witnesses, and based on the results a procedural decision will be made,» the department noted.
Foreigners who caused bodily harm to two residents of the Moscow region were detained.
Later, the police reported that a criminal case was opened against the detainees, “who unlawfully took possession of the car, causing bodily harm to a 76-year-old pensioner” under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation» (theft with violence).
