MOSCOW, November 24 Investigators have opened a criminal case into the death of a girl in the Oryol region as a result of a train collision, the press service of the Western Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the UK reported. RF.
On Thursday, the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the region, Konstantin Domogatsky, reported the death of a teenager under the wheels of a train in one of the districts of the Oryol region. A 15-year-old girl died.
The department clarified that the tragedy occurred at the 458th kilometer of the Maloarkhangelsk station in the Oryol region outside the pedestrian crossing zone.
«A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic safety rules and operation of railway transport, resulting in the death of a person through negligence),» the press service added.
