MOSCOW, Nov 22 — . The Kremlin does not yet have a special position on the proposal of the head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, to include the concept of state ideology in the Constitution, said presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“»There is no position, this is a fairly new statement, this is an opinion, which, of course, is the opinion of a very authoritative person, but there is no special position on this matter, you know that there were no statements from the president, no decisions on this matter, so here, besides this, I have nothing to say,” said he.
According to the official, we are talking about a point of view, and there are no acts that contradict the Constitution in this statement.
Earlier on Wednesday, Bastrykin called for continuing work on the Constitution and formulating and then enshrining it in it state ideology and goals of Russian society.
