MOSCOW, Nov 22 Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked the Russian government for preparing for the visit of Tajik leader Emomali Rahmon to Russia, which ended on Wednesday, noting that it was at a good level.
Rahmon arrived on a visit to Russia on Tuesday; on the same day, Russian-Tajikistan negotiations took place in the Kremlin in a limited format, and then in an expanded format. Following the meeting, a package of documents was signed, and Putin and Rakhmon made statements for the media.
«We discussed many issues on the bilateral agenda, I want to thank all my colleagues from the government who were involved in preparing this visit and preparing the relevant documents. Everything went at a very good level and with a good result,» Putin said, opening the meeting with the Cabinet of Ministers, which is taking place via video link.
