“We believe that in the very near future we will be able to satisfy the demand for electric cars through our own production. I would like to say that Russian electric cars are presented here (at the exhibition — ed.), this production is also beginning to develop in Kazakhstan, I think that it will be widespread widespread,” he said, answering a question from journalists whether Russian electric cars could soon appear on the roads of the EAEU countries.

On Friday, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, together with his colleagues on the EEC Council, inspected the exhibition of Russian electric vehicles at VDNKh.

On Friday, at VDNKh in Moscow, on the sidelines of the exhibition-forum «Russia», a regular meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission was held, which was chaired by the Chairman of the EEC Council, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk. According to him, the meeting participants expressed sincere interest in the exposition of the Russia exhibition and toured the pavilions of the Russian regions.
