MOSCOW, November 22 With Russian President Vladimir Putin in Minsk does not have separate bilateral meetings planned with the leaders of the CSTO countries, but communication on the sidelines of the summit will be mandatory, said the Russian leader’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

The CSTO includes six states: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan. Armenia will not be represented at the CSTO summit on Thursday. The Kremlin expects that representatives of Armenia at the expert level will take part in the meeting.

According to the Kremlin, during the summit key issues of interaction between CSTO members will be discussed, including further improvement of the collective security system, as well as current international and regional problems . On Wednesday, the Russian President said that one of the issues will be the formation of a single common unified air defense system of the CSTO countries. Much work has already been done in this direction. He said that two divisions of Russian S-300 air defense systems have been delivered to Tajikistan — that’s eight launchers.
