In St. Petersburg, the police are looking for an elderly man a local resident who, according to preliminary data, tried to shoot his brother.
As Fontanka writes, in a communal apartment on the Obvodny Canal embankment, brothers 72 and 59 years old had a fight, and during the quarrel, the older one pulled out a pistol and shot him in the chest relative, and then left the house. The victim received a not too dangerous injury and sought medical help only a few days later, feeling worse. At the hospital, the patient was diagnosed with a non-penetrating blind gunshot wound.
During the investigation of the crime scene, police reportedly found a Ruby Extra revolver. Fontanka writes that these economy-class weapons were produced in Spain in the 50-70s of the last century. At the same time, none of the brothers have firearms registered.
It is known that the suspected brother was repeatedly convicted back in Soviet times — for hooliganism, theft and resisting the police. The injured brother in the 90s received a conviction for robbery.
