The number of people brought to administrative responsibility after the anti-Semitic pogrom at the Makhachkala airport exceeded 500 people. Such information was found on the websites of district courts of Dagestan by Mediazona.
495 people were charged under the article for violating the procedure for holding actions (Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences), another 20 — for organizing mass simultaneous presence of citizens in public places (Article 20.2.2 Code of Administrative Offences). Moreover, the protocols are drawn up, among other things, for the events that preceded the pogrom.
So, on November 6, Jamila Ismailova was sentenced to 20 hours of compulsory labor for a post on VKontakte, which she made two weeks before the pogrom, on October 16 — it talks about a rally in Makhachkala in support of Palestine on October 17. This action was dispersed by the police. But, as follows from the court ruling, the report on the violation was drawn up only on November 4, after the anti-Semitic pogrom at the airport.
In total, seven women were brought to justice after the pogrom, at least one of them Patimat Sharudinova is in a pre-trial detention center.
As Mediazona previously reported, dozens of people were arrested in a criminal case of mass riots (Article 212 of the Criminal Code) at Makhachkala airport. The Dagestan Public Monitoring Commission reported on 126 persons involved in the case who are already in pre-trial detention center.
