MOSCOW, Nov 24 Presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko had a full conversation the day before on the way to the airport after the Russian leader’s visit to Minsk, said press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
Putin visited Minsk on Thursday to participate in the CSTO summit, which was held at the Palace of Independence. After the event, the presidents of Russia and Belarus went together to the airport in Putin's car.
«They actually agreed to talk. Since the airport in Minsk is quite far from the city center, from the presidential palace, they decided to use this road in order to actually conduct bilateral conversation… On the way to the airport, a full-fledged bilateral conversation took place,” Peskov told reporters on Friday.
