BARNAUL, November 24 Governor of the Altai Territory Viktor Tomenko held a live line with residents, for two hours he answered questions about water supply, the consequences of the hurricane, assistance to participants in the special operation, medicine and education.

I really appreciate honest feedback, during which I have the opportunity to personally discuss all the situations that concern my fellow countrymen. I will dwell on several important points and solutions. Many questions traditionally concerns water supply… We are consistently solving all problems. I have instructed to further study the situation with the water supply of the village of Kirova in Barnaul and the village of Ermachikha in the Mamontovsky district by December 1,» Tomenko wrote in his Telegram channel.
The governor noted that the focus remains on eliminating the consequences of the recent hurricane. The work of schools, kindergartens, and medical institutions has been restored. Repairs to damaged buildings are underway, and damage assessment continues. Tomenko promised to keep the issue under control and be sure to restore everything.
“During a direct connection with the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, I promised to extend all support measures for SVO participants and their families next year. Since the beginning of the SVO, we have allocated 2.8 billion rubles from the regional budget for these purposes. And now we are discussing the expansion of support measures. Not ignored the problematic situation with the construction of a school in Rakity, Mikhailovsky district. The contractor guaranteed completion of the work by the beginning of the school year. But the deadlines were missed. For failure to fulfill obligations, the company will be held accountable in accordance with the law. The work should be finally completed in December,» he wrote Tomenko.
The Governor noted that during the direct line they discussed the development of sports, assistance to large families and people with disabilities, and the development of the healthcare system.
“For all the situations that were discussed on air, and for other requests, we will definitely study the information with our colleagues from the government and with the heads of municipalities, develop solutions and give answers. We will be in touch!”, the head of the region concluded.
The press service of the regional government clarified that the direct line with the governor received about 9.5 thousand questions and requests.
About 7 thousand people reached the direct line answering machine. There were also requests to the public reception of the regional government and questions on social networks.
