
MOSCOW, November 24. Singer Eduard Charlotte became a defendant in three criminal cases, the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, reported on the Telegram channel.

“Three criminal cases have been opened against the Russophobe blogger, LGBT propagandist Charlotte, by the Investigative Committee of the Samara Region,” she wrote.
According to Mizulina, two cases — under the article “Rehabilitation of Nazism”, the third — under the article “Insulting the feelings of believers.”
The artist has not yet commented on the situation.
Two days ago, Charlotte was detained at Pulkovo airport, where he flew from Yerevan. He was charged with several administrative offenses, including under articles of discrediting the army and deliberate damage to a passport. For petty hooliganism, the singer received 13 days of administrative arrest.
In June, Charlotte published a video of himself burning his passport. He stated that he no longer considered himself a citizen of Russia and would go to Kyiv. But in mid-November, he asked his subscribers for money for a return ticket to his homeland.
Shortly after Charlotte was detained in Pulkovo, Mizulina published a video in which he apologized for burning his passport and promised not to do this again.
