Several distracting drones “landed” in the west of the capital
Kyiv continued terrorist drone attacks on the Russian capital. A few days ago, Ukrainian drones, probably for reconnaissance of our air defense zones, were heading towards Moscow from the eastern direction, and on the night of November 26, the main part of a dozen drones flew towards the capital along the southern route. According to the military report, our air defense repelled the raid. In Tula, debris from a downed drone damaged the glazing of several apartments in a multi-story building.
A night drone raid is close to the definition of “massive.” Our air defense operated in the Naro-Fominsk region and in the Odintsovo urban district, as well as in the Bryansk, Tula and Kaluga regions. The drones were shot down in the Podolsk area and the Ramensky urban district of the Moscow region.
Due to an attack by Ukrainian drones, Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports temporarily suspended departures and arrivals. Subsequently, aviation authorities announced the resumption of their work.
According to the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin, there were no reports of casualties or significant damage.
Governor of the Moscow region Andrei Vorobyom said that in three cases when drone debris fell, there was damage to buildings on the ground. “Fortunately, there were no dead or injured,” he noted.
Municipal leaders headed operational headquarters and will provide assistance to residents where necessary.
Tula Governor Alexey Demin said that the downed A Ukrainian drone lost control and crashed into an apartment building in Tula. According to him, the glazing of three apartments was damaged, one person was slightly injured.
The Russian Ministry of Defense regularly provided information throughout the night about the anti-aircraft battle with Ukrainian drones. According to the department, air defense systems on duty destroyed 11 unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of the Moscow, Tula, Kaluga and Bryansk regions.
According to experts, the air defense coped with the massive raid. The Ukrainian Armed Forces apparently wanted to take advantage of the unfavorable weather conditions in the central part of the European territory of Russia to make it more difficult for air defense systems to detect the flight of drones. However, these calculations did not come true.
It is clear that due to the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are unable to achieve anything in combat operations on the ground, Kiev will rely on terrorist methods — on attacks on civilian targets. The day before, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a massive drone attack on Crimea. It was also repulsed.
Apparently, Kyiv has nothing to catch in an unmanned confrontation with Russia. Suffice it to remember that in our night raid on November 25 on military installations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kiev and other regions of Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian military, we used almost 100 Geran-2 drones.
