MOSCOW, November 29 The Ministry of Digital Development will resume issuing grants to IT startups and large “anchor” customers for IT developments in 2024, the head of the department, Maksut, told reporters Shadayev at the Tadviser SummIT site.
Earlier in November, Shadayev said that the Ministry of Digital Development plans to refuse to issue grants for development to IT companies, but to leave grant support for large corporate customers and startups, while support for IT companies will be provided in the form of preferential loans or stimulating demand.
“Starting next year, we are renewing two programs — Bortnik (Bortnik Fund — ed.) and ICC grants. … We’re just starting to finance it. We almost didn’t finance it this year. There were no resources,” Shadayev said in answer to the question about grant support for IT startups and large “anchor” customers of IT developments.
“There is money for 2024. And from 2025 we will have a new program, and we hope that there will be money there too,” the minister answered the question about funding grants from the federal budget until 2025.
In November, the Ministry of Digital Development proposed returning to the previous proportions of grant co-financing of Russian IT development projects — until 2022, the state covered only 50% of the total cost of the project, and not 80%, as now, the bill was published on the federal portal of regulatory projects acts.
