MOSCOW, November 28. State Duma deputy Sultan Khamzaev proposed to the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova to develop a program for additional financing of films where state symbols of Russia are shown — the coat of arms, anthem, flag.
“»The coat of arms, anthem, flag in the correct patriotic image is what is important. It is not necessary «to be embarrassed to popularize the symbols of our Fatherland. I believe that an additional state program should be developed for these purposes. If you show symbols of the state in your films, you receive additional support and priority right for film screening on national television,» the statement of the State Duma deputy says (available). to Lyubimova.
The deputy believes that it is necessary to stimulate the display of symbols of the Fatherland.
«Dear Olga Borisovna, I ask you to consider the possibility of including in the list of priority topics the display of state symbols for state support of film production, and also to determine the feasibility allocation of budget funds for this,” the parliamentarian added.
Khamzaev also believes that it is important to form among young people a sense of belonging to “our strong state.”
“Sometimes you ask yourself: a good film, but there is little reflection of state symbols for this or that event,” added Khamzaev.
