Fire in the clothing market in Rostov-on-Don was localized to an area of 4,000 m2, TASS reports.
An hour earlier, the head of the city administration, Alexey Logvinenko, wrote in his Telegram channel that the fire area was 3,000 m2, and it was currently being extinguished departments of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations, Vodokanal and Rostov City Electric Networks are helping. According to him, at the moment there is no spread of fire to residential premises, but the fire has been assigned the third rank.
It was previously reported that on the evening of Thursday, November 30, in Rostov-on-Don Don started a fire at the city market. According to local media, the emergency happened at the largest clothing market in the city, Temernik.
The fire on 12/5 Mironova Street was reported at 20.39 local time, at that time the fire area was about 400 m2. The department confirmed that the clothing pavilions were on fire. There have been no reports of casualties; however, there are conflict situations involving traders who are trying to save goods.
