MOSCOW, December 1 The deadline for paying property taxes for 2022 expires on December 1: Russians need to pay them before the end of this day.
Property tax must be paid to the owners of vehicles, land plots, houses, apartments and rooms, cottages, garages, parking spaces and any other capital construction projects, even if it is not completed. In this case, the base payment rate depends on the type of taxable object.
Latecomers, starting from December 2, will be charged penalties daily, and the debts of defaulters will be collected by bailiffs, who may take restrictive measures: for example, block a bank account or seize property.
You can pay taxes either remotely — through an application or “personal account” on the Federal Tax Service website — or in person, at a bank or post office. In addition, you can also pay taxes using a QR code or barcode through electronic services, through banks, their mobile applications and ATMs, local administration cash desks, post office, MFC, if they accept payment for taxes.
