MOSCOW, December 1 Russian President Vladimir Putin allowed Lukoil to purchase shares of the energy company EL5-Energo, owned by UROC Limited, the corresponding order was published on the official portal legal information.

Thus, Lukoil received permission to buy out UROC's 7.4% stake in EL5-Energo.
According to data on the EL5-Energo website, Lukoil already owns 56.44% of the company. Thus, the oil company can increase its share to 63.84%. Another 5.54% of EL5-Energo belongs to LLC PPIT-7, the remaining 30.62% belongs to minority shareholders.
In October, Italian Enel sold its stake in Enel Russia (56.43%) oil company «Lukoil» and the fund «Gazprombank-Freesia». The new owners renamed the company EL5-Energo.
El5-Energo's production branches include three gas stations — Konakovskaya , Nevinnomyssk and Sredneuralskaya state district power plants, as well as two wind power plants — Azov and Kola. The company's total installed capacity is 5.9 gigawatts for electricity generation and 1.7 gigacalories per hour for heat generation.
