IRKUTSK, December 4 Six people were detained in the criminal case of the murder of a 15-year-old schoolboy in Irkutsk, reports the head office of the Investigative Committee for the Irkutsk Region.
On December 2, at a public transport stop in Irkutsk, a 15-year-old boy was fatally wounded during a conflict between teenagers. He was stabbed four times. A criminal case has been opened under the article «murder».
After conducting search activities, police officers and the National Guard detained two participants in the conflict. They were delivered from the Kachugsky district to Irkutsk. Information appeared on social networks that teenagers watched the popular series and began to imitate its characters. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that this was a fake: the murder suspect, a 15-year-old schoolboy from the Leninsky district of Irkutsk, explained that he had not watched this series. Thus, information about the relationship of what happened with the series is not confirmed.
Investigators from the Investigative Committee are clarifying the motives for the crime. All participants in the conflict have been identified.
«In total, six people were brought to the investigators. The murder weapon (a knife) was seized,» the message says.
Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin ordered a prompt report on the set of initial investigative actions and the circumstances of the incident. The investigation of the criminal case has been placed under control in the central office of the Investigative Committee.
