MOSCOW, December 4 Former President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev sent to the President RF Vladimir Putin received the author's copy of his book, said the press secretary of the Russian head of state Dmitry Peskov.

Nazarbayev became the first president of independent Kazakhstan and headed it for almost 30 years — he resigned as head of state on March 20, 2019. On December 1, Nazarbayev’s memoirs went on sale in the country. The book, entitled “My Life. From Addiction to Freedom,” consists of 694 pages, which are organized into 22 chapters. Each of them is dedicated to a separate event from the author’s personal life or his political career.
