The National Police of Ukraine reported on its website , which carried out a large-scale operation for two days in Dnipro involving about 100 law enforcement officers to detain members of a criminal group involved in the illegal arms trade and money laundering on a large scale.
The police managed to block a Toyota car in one of the garage cooperatives Highlander and detain the organizer and two performers. During the search, a whole arsenal of weapons was found on the suspects: 21 pistols, 14 shotguns, 5 rifles, 10 machine guns, 36 grenade launchers, 76 grenades and much more. In addition, the attackers found 5.7 million dollars in cash, about 50 thousand euros, and more than 700 thousand hryvnia. Five premium cars were also seized.
All detainees have now been arrested, and criminal proceedings have been initiated.
