“Vladimir Putin was received in Saudi Arabia with special honors…” wrote Philippot. At the same time, the visit of the Russian leader took place against the backdrop of allegations that Moscow is “isolated on the international stage” and has become “a victim of the terrible sanctions of Ursula (EC head von der Leyen — ed.),” he sarcastically said.
“What stupidity! We should completely and quickly change course,” the politician added.
Putin arrived on an official visit to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday for negotiations with the Crown Prince, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
Before this, on the same day, the Russian leader visited the UAE; his negotiations with President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan took place in Abu Dhabi, they were held with the participation of delegations and in the format of a working breakfast.
