The Japanese compact has been tweaked in appearance, there are new things inside, but more modest. All equipment is the same.
The Nissan Note hatchback has been in its current, third generation since 2020. The model turned out to be successful, it is consistently included in the TOP 10 of the most popular “full-fledged” cars on the Japanese market (that is, excluding kei cars, they have separate statistics). Moreover, in 2021, Note was recognized as the best car in Japan. And now the time has come for restyling: for now only the basic modernized compact is presented, the cross-version from the Autech division and the “luxury” Aura version will be updated later.
The exterior was designed in the new corporate style of the brand, which has already been tried on by the Serena minivan, the American Rogue crossover (brother of the X-Trail), the Dayz kei car, the Almera/Versa sedan and the Chinese Pathfinder. A characteristic feature of that same style is the horizontal stripes on the radiator grille, and on the Nissan Note they can be painted in body color (by the way, two new shades have been added to the palette), while additional stripes on the sides are made shiny. The hatch also got different bumpers, plus 16-inch wheels of a new design appeared. LED headlights are now standard equipment.

There are fewer new things in the cabin: the pattern of the decorative insert located on the front panel has been changed, the glove compartment has become more spacious, well and the chairs now have different upholstery. As before, the Nissan Note is equipped with climate control, a multimedia system, virtual instrumentation, auto-braking and lane-marking systems.

The reforms did not affect technology. Nissan Note comes exclusively as a hybrid with an e-Power installation: the 1.2 petrol engine (82 hp) is not connected to the wheels, it works only as a generator, while the front wheels are driven by an electric motor (116 hp). You can also choose an all-wheel drive hatch with a separate electric motor on the rear axle (68 hp).

Dealers are already accepting orders for the restyled Nissan Note, the price starts at 2,299,000 yen, which is equivalent to about 1 .43 million rubles at the current exchange rate. The start of “live” sales is scheduled for January 2024. The current generation Note is not officially presented outside the Japanese market.
