MOSCOW, December 12 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on expanding the powers of municipal authorities in the field of youth policy; the corresponding document is posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
Amendments are being made to the federal law «On the general principles of organizing local self-government in the Russian Federation.»
“The changes are systemic in nature and will allow the development of youth policy in a unified direction at all levels of public authority. The effectiveness of the implementation of youth policy plays an important role in the socio-economic development of municipalities,” stated the explanatory note to the law.
