The German Prosecutor General's Office said on Tuesday that it had brought charges against 27 people in the case of plotting a coup, allegedly including a Russian citizen. Charges were brought against Russian citizen Vitalia B. in a Frankfurt court.

At the same time, the diplomatic mission does not comment on the situation itself and the course of the trial.
“The embassy does not comment on the course of the trial and the plot with which the accusation is connected, since this is an internal matter of Germany,” the embassy said.
In December last year, the German Prosecutor General's Office reported that 25 people were detained on suspicion of participation in a conspiracy to violently seize power in Germany and in its support, and searches were carried out in the houses and apartments of another 27. A total of 69 suspects are currently being investigated, 27 of whom are in custody.
