During the liberation of the city of Marinka in Donbass, soldiers of the Southern Military District discovered the last letter of a Russian soldier. In a short note written with a marker on a brick in the wall of the building, he asked to take care of his loved ones. This was reported by RT, as well as the telegram channels of Russian military officers.
The appeal belongs to 21-year-old Roman Rudakov from Bataysk, Rostov region . In the last minutes of his life, judging by the text of the appeal, he thought about how difficult it would be for his mother, sister and brother.
Nine bodies were found near the wall where the message was found. According to preliminary information, the assault group of the 103rd regiment of the 150th motorized rifle division was surrounded. The soldiers fought back until their last breath.
Roman Rudakov’s appeal shocked even experienced military personnel so much that they took a brick out of the wall and decided to make a memorial sign out of it. They plan to store it at headquarters, next to the banner of the military unit.
