MOSCOW, December 16 A criminal case of hooliganism was opened after a foreigner beat a policeman in Moscow on the territory of the Sadovod market, reported the Telegram channel of the capital’s Investigative Committee.
Earlier, the department announced the initiation of two criminal cases under articles of using violence against a government official and insulting a government official against a foreigner who beat a policeman at the Sadovod market. The investigation requests that the person involved be subject to a preventive measure in the form of detention. Another 80 migrants were taken to the investigative authorities to check compliance with migration laws.

"Also, based on hooliganism that occurred on the territory of the shopping complex, investigators from the capital’s Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism — ed.),” it says in a message from SK.
Currently, investigative actions are being carried out on the territory of the complex. All persons involved in the deliberate use of violence against citizens, including police officials, are identified.
According to the capital's headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the incident occurred on Friday. The owner of the car, while checking documents, tried to hide from the policeman by dragging him several meters in the car. After this, the offender got out of his car and struck the police officer several times. The department clarified that when the man was detained, a group of “aggressive citizens (more than 80 people)” approached the police officers and tried to push them back by cutting the wheel of a service car. The police officer did not go to the hospital, he continued to perform his duty.
