In the Sverdlovsk region, a woman will be tried for that she wounded her cohabitant while she was cutting pizza, reports the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.
The department said that in 2007 the accused was sentenced to eight years in prison for the murder of her cohabitant. After her release, during a conflict, she wounded her new partner with a knife, for which she was given another four years.
After parole, the woman returned home and tried to start a new family. But during the conflict in July 2023, she again stabbed her partner in the abdomen with a knife she was using to cut pizza.
The man survived thanks to timely medical care. A criminal case has been opened for intentionally causing grievous bodily harm. The accused faces up to ten years in prison.
