My comrades and I were preparing for battle, I heard the tanks that they were coming, I came out of the trench onto the road, and the tank stood meters away from me at fifty. But it so happened that I was a little faster,” said the serviceman.
According to him, the enemy “didn’t get through.” The Russian military first repelled the tank attack, after which the Ukrainian infantry was unable to even approach the Russian units.
Another serviceman who received an award from the hands of the president, Andrei Mityashin, said that his experience, which was accumulated from the very beginning of the special operation, helped him. During the execution of tasks, he personally and via radio suggested the best way to act.

He called the actions of his colleagues daring, sharp and unexpected so much that the enemy was stunned.
Matskevich and Mityashin admitted that they received awards thanks to the guys with whom they performed combat missions.
Earlier today, after a meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Defense, Vladimir Putin presented the Stars of Heroes of Russia to the military personnel.
