Preferential housing loans for programmers will continue after 2024
In 2023, more than 15% of all housing loan transactions were IT mortgage transactions. Analysts have found out what this category of buyers is and which apartments are most in demand among these specialists.
As experts have found, the income of almost half of IT specialists (48%) ranges from 250 to 500 thousand rubles per month. In second place (19%) are borrowers with income from 150 to 199 thousand, in third (14%) — from 200 to 249 thousand rubles.
54% of IT specialists are young and middle-aged people ( from 25 to 34 years old). 35% are borrowers aged 35 to 44 years. The youngest category of IT specialists (18-24 years old) accounted for only 4%.
“Three-room apartments have become the most popular among IT specialists. The demand for them was 38%. This fact is explained by the fact that 54% of borrowers are married, while 71% of IT mortgagers have no dependents. — Level Group Sales Director Alina Larionova explains the results of the study to MK. — According to our observations, families buy these apartments to increase their living space. In second place in demand are two-room apartments (36%), in third place are one-room apartments (17%). Four-room apartments are in demand among 9%.”
According to the Ministry of Digital Development, it is expected that by the end of 2024, at least 50 thousand borrowers will take advantage of IT mortgages. Moreover, at the beginning of December 2023, the Ministry of Digital Development took the initiative to extend this program beyond 2024.
