The court fined an entertainment channel for gay propaganda in Baskov's video

MOSCOW, December 20The Tagansky Court of Moscow fined the Tochka TV channel one million rubles for promoting non-traditional sexual relationships in Nikolai Baskov’s video for the song “Strannik”, information posted on the department’s website.

«Tochka TV» found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 2 of Art. 6.21.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, and punish him with an administrative fine in the amount of one million rubles,” says the text of the resolution.

The court found that on July 14, 2023, at 5:49 p.m., the TV channel aired a video of the artist without the “18+” sign. The decision was made on December 12.

The text states that “the story of the relationship between the lyrical hero” Baskov and another man takes place against the backdrop of “an atmosphere of hedonism and debauchery, which is realized mainly through repeated scenes of non-verbal sensual interaction between two persons of the same biological sex (female) in a sexual context.»
Article 6.21.2 “Dissemination among minors of information demonstrating non-traditional sexual relationships and (or) preferences or that can cause minors to desire to change gender,” appeared in Code of Administrative Offenses at the end of last year.
Nikolai Baskov has not yet commented on the situation.
