According to the publication ceskenoviny.cz, 24-year-old Charles University student David Kozak, who killed 15 people and wounded 24 others at the Faculty of Philosophy today, kept a diary in Russian and admired the massacre in Bryansk, which I wanted to surpass.

He owned several types of firearms and was preparing in advance for mass murder.

Police suspect that he first shot his father in the village of Khostun, Kladno region, and then went to Prague. After the shooting, the young man committed suicide.

In his account on the Telegram social network, he wrote that he hated the world and wanted to leave behind as much pain as possible. Kozak also mentioned that there was some kind of ringing in his ears.

In one of the notes, he indicated that his decision to shoot at the faculty was influenced by a student of the Russian Bryansk gymnasium, who on December 7 brought with her a pump-action a gun from which she shot at her classmates, after which she committed suicide. Then she killed one person and wounded five more.
